Having grown up in a military family, Eric is originally from Warner Robins, Georgia, but also lived in Mather AFB, California, and Columbus, Ohio, before moving to Tallahassee, Florida after senior year to attend Florida State University. After graduating from FSU with honors (Magna Cum Laude), serving in multiple roles in various extra curricular activities (Kappa Sigma Fraternity, Order of Omega, Interfraternity Council Judicial Board just to name a few), and interning with the Executive Office of the Governor, Eric accepted a full tuition academic scholarship to study law at the University of Alabama in Tuscaloosa, Alabama.
After law school, Eric accepted an offer with the law firm of Matthews & Hawkins, P.A., located in Destin, Florida. He remained with that firm (later Matthews & Jones) until 2017 when he accepted an offer from Bogin, Munns & Munns, P.A., to work in their Gainesville, Florida office. In 2022, Eric left Bogin, Munns & Munns, P.A., to found the Dibert Law Group, P.A., where he is currently the managing shareholder. Over the years, Eric’s general civil litigation experience allowed him to develop his current practice, which includes real estate litigation, probate litigation, and business litigation.
Eric’s wife, Dr. Tavenner Dibert is currently finishing a Pediatric Critical Care fellowship at UF Shands and is already double board certified in both Pediatrics and Pediatric Cardiology. They currently live in Gainesville, Florida, with their two sons and their two rescue dogs.
